Hexy

A hex map maker for tabletop RPGs, with a live player-facing second screen.

Hex-crawl campaigns have a staging problem that is not really a software problem: the map the referee needs and the map the players may see are not the same map, and at a physical table the difference is managed with paper cutouts and a good memory. Virtual tabletops solve it by moving everyone online, which is a different evening. Hexy takes the third position — the players are in the room — and mirrors the revealed map to a second screen as the referee draws, with fog of war covering everything not yet found. It is a finished product with a price on it rather than a demonstration, built and shipped alone.[^shipped]
